How do I measure for a cover?

Measure the outermost width, depth and height of the item, including arms, backs and cushions that will stay under the cover. For a dining set, arrange the chairs as you plan to store them. Our measurement guide helps you prepare a summary.

Should I choose the next size up?

There is no single extra allowance for every cover. Compare your measurements with the exact size option and its fitting instructions. Check where the bottom edge will sit and whether the fastenings can reach their intended positions. If the fit looks close, ask before ordering.

What if my furniture is curved or unusually shaped?

Dimensions alone may not describe a curved back, high arms or an L-shaped arrangement. Prepare photos from the front, side and above, then contact us with your measurements and the cover you are considering. Do not assume a rectangular cover will fit.

Can I cover an air conditioner while it is running?

Cover only while the unit is off and only if its manufacturer permits it. Follow the instructions for your exact model, including seasonal use, ventilation and clearance. Remove the cover before operation. A heat pump may need to run during winter.
